Privacy Policy
1. This Privacy Policy sets out the rules for processing personal data obtained through the WED WED online store (hereinafter referred to as the "Online Store").
2. The owner of the Online Store and the personal data administrator is Olga Wasiak, conducting business under the name MBD, with its registered office at: Wójtówka 27, 96-500 Sochaczew, NIP: 522-281-22-15 (hereinafter referred to as the "Seller" or "Administrator").
3. The Administrator does not automatically collect any information, except for data contained in cookies.
4. Personal data is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR) and other applicable legal provisions.
5. The Administrator exercises particular care to protect the privacy and security of users' personal data in the Store.
§1 Type of data processed, purposes and legal basis
1. The Administrator processes personal data of Customers, i.e., natural persons making purchases in the Online Store, as well as persons representing entities placing orders.
2. Personal data is collected in particular in the case of:
a) placing an order in the Online Store - in order to conclude and execute a sales contract (Art. 6 section 1 letter b of GDPR);
b) contact with the Administrator (e.g., contact form, e-mail) - in order to provide a response (Art. 6 section 1 letter f of GDPR);
c) conducting analytical and marketing activities - based on the legitimate interest of the Administrator (Art. 6 section 1 letter f of GDPR) or the user's consent (Art. 6 section 1 letter a of GDPR);
d) fulfilling legal obligations, in particular tax and accounting obligations (Art. 6 section 1 letter c of GDPR).
3. When placing an order, the Customer provides, in particular: e-mail address, first and last name, delivery address, and telephone number.
4. In the case of personalized products, the Customer provides additional data (e.g., first names, last names, dates, or other content), which are used solely for the purpose of order fulfillment.
5. Technical data, such as IP address, browser information, device, and user activity, may also be collected while using the Store.
6. Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary for the conclusion and execution of a sales contract.
§2 Data recipients and storage period
1. Personal data may be disclosed or entrusted to entities cooperating with the Administrator to the extent necessary for the provision of services, in particular: the Shopify store platform provider, payment operators, courier companies (e.g. InPost), entities providing accounting services, and providers of analytical and marketing tools.
2. These entities process personal data on the basis of relevant data processing agreements or as separate administrators, depending on the nature of cooperation.
3. Personal data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area, in particular to the United States or Canada, in connection with the use of Shopify services and marketing tools.
4. The transfer of data outside the European Economic Area takes place with the application of appropriate safeguards required by law, in particular standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
5. Personal data is stored for the period necessary for the performance of the sales contract, and after its completion, for the time required by law or until claims become time-barred.
6. In the case of data processed based on consent - until its withdrawal.
§3 Cookies and Technical Data
1. The Online Store uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure its proper functioning, analyze traffic, and conduct marketing activities.
2. Cookies are IT data stored on the user's end device and enable the website to function properly and adapt to the user's preferences.
3. The Store uses analytical and marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, and Pinterest.
4. The Store uses the following types of cookies:
- essential, enabling the proper functioning of the Store and the use of its basic functionalities;
- analytical, enabling the collection of information on how the Store is used and the creation of statistics;
- functional, allowing the storage of selected user settings and adapting the Store's operation to their preferences;
- marketing, enabling the matching of advertising content to user interests and conducting remarketing activities.
5. Due to the use of the above tools, user data may be used for profiling for marketing purposes, in particular to tailor advertising content to their interests.
6. The user can change the cookie settings in their web browser at any time.
7. Restricting the use of cookies may affect some functionalities of the Store.
8. Detailed information on the cookies used and the ability to manage consents are available via the cookie banner mechanism displayed during the first visit to the Store.
9. The Administrator may process users' IP addresses for technical, statistical, and security purposes.
§4 Rights of data subjects
1. The Customer has the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, transfer data, and object to the processing of their data.
2. The Customer has the right to withdraw consent at any time, however, the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.

4. The Customer also has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
§5 Final provisions
1. The Administrator applies appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of processed personal data, adequate to the risks and categories of data subject to protection.
2. The Privacy Policy may change, in particular, in the event of changes in legal regulations or the way the Store operates.
3. The current version of the Privacy Policy is always available on the Store's website.
